Thanks MTL for this wonderful novel. I love this novel. I like the way how the FL narrates the story. They both are competitive in their own ways and nth degree know each other so the over familiarity causes them to strike with each other. I enjoy reading this and I will include this in my re-reading list.
It's not bad but, then I stop halfway.
Just leaving this comment in case future me stumbled this novel and want to read it. Forget it. Move on. Re-read from the complete list folder. Don't bother wasting time on this. Don't even bother trying to remember by clicking the first chapter. It was not worth it. 😫

Yes you are absolutely correct. The ML loves the FL so much but FL ain't a damsel and distress woman so the ML used ways like in the novel but you can see in him thay everything he is doing for Shiran as in everything, hahaha.

I think the ML loves the FL dearly. He just doesn't know how to handle the stubbornness of the FL. I really love the novel. I think the FL is also harsh in dealing with the ML so they are equal in how they painfully / annoyingly treated each other. But overall the love and sacrifices can be felt in MLs way of loving the FL.
