the story is good. though many times its the typical plot of this genre. but nonetheless the dialogue, pacing, and so on were smoothly written. the only complain thus far was why on earth shen yizhi never properly notice or even took the effort to examine and analyze gu xueting's body? even after experiencing the outbreak and noticing something was wrong, she haven't found out about ML's poison and focus on possibility of double personality. if it was normal person, the first thing would be to check your loved one sickness. but somehow author make it mc's first attention was her lost memory and the dilemma wher it was ML who sleep with her or the 'evil gu xueting'. and then next she was happily going around as if forgotten her boyfriend was sick and need treatment.
sigh i'm really not fond of the type of plot like 'dual personality' thing. i know many plots were creative like pure dual personality, or one soul divided into two body, one soul transformed into 2nd different soul, or original soul suppressed as another soul took over, bla bla bla. in the end it feel like all of them are just like a complete stranger took over your beloved body and substitute him. he is no longer the same person. it is appalling that the FL could tolerate a different personality/soul with a simple reason as IT IS THE SAME BODY. did they actually fall in love with a specific person or fall in love with the body/face itself? wouldnt it bother them knowing the person inside is a different people, a stranger occupying your loved one body?
