The beginning is very cute especially the children. They are the one who keep this books lively. Middle is okay as they expanded their social circles and towards the end is a bit meh. Overall, the story is still okay to past time. Romance between FL and ML is a bit slow. Fl seems intelligent but really the way she acted slow witted is really a No-no for me. Loves the grandmother and grandfather. Eventhough they seems aloof at the beginning, they were actually superb. Just imagine, living till the age of 50s with a sickly husband, who is going to care so much about their grown up married sons and daughters? One good thing about this, is that there's a lot of laughter in this story. Eventhough I don't really like Eldest SIL for her greedy and patriachial thinking, but she is the biggest jokes in this story. Her daughter Yun, while young but she is overly confident abt her looks. It has been mentioned repititively that bother mother and daughter is so Ugly and yet their father don't actually mind this. Im suprised that there is a book where external beauty were not taken into consideration for marriage. I just ignored those loopholes in this book which can be said as randomly plan and focus more on their journey to capital and the childrens relationship with one another. Villain sister, mother and her father in laws took long time to die. Haish..
There are additional chapters after but it's pretty meh at the end. Some unfinished plot points and some hastily finished. Overall not a bad book.
