Currently at chapter 12 but who the hell is the male lead? Is it the so called hero 'Bai something'?
I don't know if it was the story or it was just my deadass self but the initial chapters always got me sleeping XD lol not really a fan of SLOW PACE but the plots and intrigues are just fascinating. I must say, the author did PLAN the story INTRICATELY which added to it's charm, I appreciate the attempt to make the characters more DIMENSIONAL (needs a bit more push on this area) the execution needs MORE POLISH since I reckon it swerved more on the mystery and sometimes forgot about the sub details. It felt draggy at first, but once the clues broke out, it'll all burst fort like a dam. The CONCEPT is definitely an ORIGINAL for me. Anyway, I had fun connecting the dots throughout the story. All in all, it's a 40% beyond the average read.

I'm still at chapter 50s but I like how the characters has dimensions. They have their own personality. But the 5 scholars fight as the new supervisor is actually portrayed nicely. Each scholar has their own merits and what they lack. They weren't just completely suppressed by MC because of her heroine halo. When the reasons why they're not the best were explained in the narrative, I found myself agreeing.
