I don't think I can read a complex story like this with MTL. Does it have romance? Idk man not enough info on reviews
It’s seems like a good historical transmigration story with a clever protagonist, no system or powers or anything, the MTL isn’t bad and actually pretty good except a few points and the same is true of the Amazon official translation that is actually even better but the confusing points won’t be improved since there are Chinese elements that aren’t well explained since it’s popular culture I assume so that doesn’t improve but the English in the official translation (which is free if you have kindle) is actually really well done but it doesn’t really change the confusing parts it’s just a better English translation, but it’s not at the level of altering the original to make it more understandable aka rewriting the english version to make those confusing parts make sense

No it seems to be a normal male transmigration, the concubine is confusing but his biological mother is a maid of the male master of the Lu family from the Zhang family and the mistress who he has to call ‘mother’ didn’t like him so she sent him back to his maternal family under the guise of going to the schools there instead of the ones nearby

Mc said that Dakang Dynasty was comparable to the Sui and Tang Dynasty but was surprised that "romance of the three kingdoms," a book made in the Ming Dynasty didn't exist. Either the mc is dumb as rocks or the author is stupid. I know I'm ranting about something stupid but still...
Okay, in my defense, I was lacking sleep.
You're not wrong though. The whole premise of the story is stupid, author clearly didn't put much thought into it. This isn't a world with cultivators or anything. Here's how the story should've ended. Zhao family kills MC, drops his body in a ditch, and says he died off illness. Boom Story done.
