What I don't like about this story is that the MC just lived not because of his strength but because of someone protecting him. This is a well-written novel but I can't enjoy this story because not once he had a victory without being harmed, and then saved again due to someone's protection. In short, he has more plot armor than most of the MCs in the anime and manga.
The best thing in this novel is the ending. At least, this is worth the time reading.
That's true. But, I don't quite like that snow empress let MC get his second wife even though her jealousy is still so overwhelming.
The time has come for me give my verdict. Well the reason why I like this novel compared to other soul land fan fic is because i got tired of the other soul land fan fic out there that always want to let the whole world know how hypocritical Tang San and Grandmaster is. At first, those kind of idea is still good but if other novels repeat the same style then it become tiresome to read. I mean if you read those novel their you will later feel that they are also full of hypocrisy and they accuse tang san and co. of the same crime(?). But in this novel mc does not care about whether Tang san is hypocrite or whatnot. The setting is in soul land 2 and the mc in soul land 2 is huo yuhao. The goal of this fanfic’s protagonist is clear from the beginning. He wants to reach the apex. I can say that “THIS IS A SERIOUS SOUL LAND FANFIC”. And also not a system novel, the system only gave him a few things before the story started and its out and also helped him one time i think.

in tournament arc, the system? its only helping mc twice(maybe? im still at 234. 1.mc transmigrated 2.fusing with gold of life) after that it will never metioned idk because im skipping most chap because the mc got amnesia and author doing flashback no jutsu like "well now i remember something"
Spoiler obviously; system comes back with the help of some dude who's also a transmigrator with an op world travelling cultivating system and that system is the mc's system's boyfriend; the mc's system only went to the mc and transported him to Douluo world at the expense of all it's energy due to having an argument with it's boyfriend due to the mc's system being an idol talent system that can't give skills to make anyone powerful; at best it can make someone a very good singer, drawer etc.
Oh and on that note, the other guys system gave him a quest to save the other system and make it's host a god, so mc has had a super powered god cultivator guy and his wife following him like a nanny for over a hundred thousand years so mc has never been in any danger and has his system removed as soon as it is repaired so it can rejoin it's boyfriend by attaching itself to the random cultivator guy; mc is basically a side character where real mc is watching him in the background and for some reason has a desire to have a kid when mc has one so he can force their kids to be together; it's really weird. (unique though I guess?)
So its a trash system then?
