Based on the reviews I read this story seemed to have the potential to be a great read. HOWEVER, the mtl is so bad my brain is struggling to stay engaged. Additionally, I am only at chapter 21 and more than half of the text is devoted to other characters. I want to know more about the leads. I don’t care about their cousins or all the other relationships of peripheral characters. I would stick this out to the end if this was a short two digit chapter read. No way am I investing in 500 more chapters. I’m dropping this one and moving on.
As of ch 396, so possible spoilers: It's interesting how the novel has females breaking out from their submissive role from ancient times but also on the other side, the antagonistic females keeping to that role.. for a man, whether they were willing or just brainwashed.. it has such a stark contrast within the gender. It really makes me wonder how can one lose their own self - the pride, dignity.. over another person, especially for a man using them as chess pieces. Is it really love? Were they brainwashed that well?
Such a refreshing storyline!!! A unique parallel world with very interesting and engaging leads. I just love this cool, calm, intelligent FL with capabilities and a lot of sass!! Her interactions with ML is funny, and as of ch 74, antagonistic flirtation? Lol..
Nice story. Binged in 3 days. Main couple is cute and powerful. There are side couples but very little focus on their relationships. Kind of skimmed past the last war arc. Anyone know where I can find the prequels?

Historical, but like at the start of the industrial revolution. There are guns and cars. It's the point in history at the end of imperialism. The imperial family doesn't have much power.
