Mary Shou × Cold Royal prince gong. Their interaction is awkward at first, but quite normal. Like how you'd react when you met a cold person, and I quite like that. So watching the transition of him going from cold to flirty and cute is so lovely. //////// Aside from the chemistry, I also love the mecha plot mechanics, in how the characters will apply their "mental power" to the bonds, the ability of the mechas, and the kinds. I just kinda felt awkward at the last tournament. It's like bringing a nuclear weapon in a war. You'd understand if you read it. ////////// I also love the revenge, the face-slaps, to the two— 3— 5 middle-aged bastards. It's sooooo satisfying. Just that I felt awkward to the Scum and other Scummmie's characters. They felt.... Forced. Not just by the author, also by the plot, and how the author p(r)otrayed them. Cuz like, no one even believed that the MC would win based on the past games. That is based on science. Yet when the games reversed, it seems like it's their fault for not believing the MC. And the way the author p(r)otrayes the main scum's emotions is like he's a pure fan of the MC but got influenced by society. Like, they're characters are just confusing. ////////// I also hate how the other half of the original plot in the novel is shown but went to waste, lol. I don't understand the essence of it. ////////////// I don't hate Mary sues. I just hate when it gets unreasonable. Thankfully, if you just lie to yourself, this one seems believable. /////////////// I am also disappointed in the "match" between the MC × ML. There's no s*x or scenes to show the power of pheromones and the "match". I was thinking of a more deep and devotional and crazy thing.
Ahh, I forgot. If you see this and got curious about the novel, I actually quite like it, mostly because of the fight. It's quite great, actually. I support you if you want to read it.
