  1. The FL, her sisters and her mother were physically and mentally abused awfully by her father, grand-mother, her grand-father, her uncles/aunts & cousins FOR YEARS. They even tried to murder some of her sisters. BUT the FL reserves her most torturous, cruellest revenge for the woman who dared to steal her father away from her mother. Yep, you can tell what the FL (and the author) consider to be the worse offence.

  2. Yeah, the FL just turns into complete trash by the end. She arranges for a little girl to be sold into slavery because the girl's sister was her enemy. Only 20 chapters from the end but I just lost all interest in finishing this. It starts off ok. I liked it at first but the fl just becomes more and more unlikeable as the story progresses. The mother is the only character with an actual character arc but she is not exactly an interesting character in the first place. Only two of the 7 sisters of the FL get any sort of characterization, the other 5 are interchangeable. The ML is boring and to be honest, his entire storyline is less interesting than watching paint dry.

  3. I like this for the most part. I like the FL for the most part. One thing i did not like was the ungratefulness/selfishness the FL displayed towards the girl who warned her about her father. Sure that girl did not have noble motives (but honestly which character in a CN does?), but the way the FL took the info then just ignored the girl was ungrateful and entitled.

  4. And i just do not like the ML. The guy has a fiance. A fiance he has been betrothed to for years. But he starts to chase the FL whilst engaged, forcing thousands of dollars on her thus putting her into his debt. meh

  5. idk why the rating is so high. mc was able to become rich in only 2 years so it feels rushed. you can really feel her mc halo since everything goes her way. story itself is written as an outline or timeline. it lacks character development and character interactions at the most critical time. also, mc's mom is a drag on the family. i feel the only reason they keep her is because she is their mom and tolerate her. seriously, the mom contributes nothing. its mc and making money and raising her children. there is even a scene pointing out the mom ruining her son by spoiling him and she protests when mc is disciplining him. wish they would throw away the mom since mc and sisters pointed out mc raised them and they are all useful productive people despite being girls.

  6. In regards to the mum; I do not like her very much either BUT not every character needs to be talented. And I feel she was important to the story as 9 female children in a feudal era (with the oldest being 12) needed a parental figure of some kind to just give them some legitimacy. Think about it, would they be able to travel so far, purchase a house, register a female household, etc without an adult during that time period?
