  1. it's very.. hmm. i'm not going to leave a rating review because i barely read up to chapter 48 so it's won't be fair to affect the rating, but in my impression the author appears to be doing too much. to start with, we're thrown straight into the plot in the first chapter with little explanation which is generally not a bad move to get readers engaged but! there's too much information! we know absolutely nothing about the mc and the author writes as if we should already care about him and the world around him. someone dies almost every other chapter and i feel a lack of incentive to care about it because it's happening too quickly. i don't have time to get attached to anyone and the few characters that i'm interested in are quickly cut off before i can form an actual attachment. i actually think their deaths is what made me interested in them not their characters before that. the mc has little personality beyond his gigantic martyr complex? hero complex? he's accepted his position as the "lighthouse" way too quickly and all the reasons he has to hide his purpose and intentions are so--lame. it's boring and so very stifling. he's this weird mix of too ruthless and logical and yet too emotional at moments. i understand the logic behind his actions but it doesn't move me the way the author clearly intends it to be with all the prose and quotes. the weirdest thing about this novel is that despite it moving so fast, it also feels really slow? it's conflicting. the mc is conflicting. he's either hyped up way too much at certain moments or not enough--maybe the author's writing gets better down the line but for now i'm not very interested in continuing.

  2. i realized what was so off about the mc. the author tried so hard to nerf him but it's not as if the mc was strong to begin with??? thinking about it, the way the author removed the mc's ability to choose save points after the novice mission definitely made things more complicated for no reason. it's as if the author thought that would be too op? but the whole time, the mc kept going on and on about how his "golden finger" wasn't very powerful in the long-run so all the limitation did was make it seem very lame.

  5. First chapter 【The authority to ignore death has been placed in your hands, and the world is waiting for you. 】 【The only person standing on the edge of time, please do your best...to end this game where mankind is betting on everything. 】 Last chapter 【Game ended】

  6. So far trying to poison test this.... So far I've made it to chapter 4.... So for anyone who can't figure it out from that 'summary' this is what it seems like to me so far: Looks like 1 billion people get swept up into some alien's game system. They apparently have to play these games and if they don't score high enough they will all be killed (and possibly humanity in general). The MC has some cheat where he can basically revert to an earlier 'save point' that the aliens don't know about. So he can get the highest 'clearance' score.
