Coward Mc, he is Op and overpowered but acting cowardly .... A guy come to provoke him he let him go then he come again with 50 followers he defeated him again then letting him escape again... He is afraid of killing, there is no adventure you just want to stay and forging weapons. Plus given all the weapon away because he doesn't want to fight.
People like you do my head in. Read the novel properly, stop reading crappy novels where the MC waves his dick around without consequences. It’s a black smithing novel, not a face slapping one. He’s not a coward, he’s calculating and a bit naive at the start. He lets his enemies go due to that nativity but later he realises his mistakes. So off you trot, stop being a dumbass.

On chapter 140+ but all i see so far is mc letting people go repeatedly and only doing something when people around him suffer
I'm gonna try reading it now... but my two cents on this is that it completely depends on the context. The worst thing as a reader is an MC that never takes initiative. MC is ALWAYS the one being plotted against, always the one reacting to stuff others do. When people offend him, he sits and waits around for them to make stuff difficult for him. That can be disregarded depending on the situation, but if it's the same thing EVERY TIME it gets incredibly annoying to read. Usually when people are complaining about MC letting people go, they're actually just complaining about a moron MC that never takes control. Doesn't matter how "Cool" or "Cold and indifferent" the MC is. Always being saved by the authors plot armor makes for an awful read. But maybe that dude was being oversensitive, i dunno. I'll be back after I read!
