This novel is not as good as people in the comments claim. It’s nice to have a hardworking focused on cultivation MC. However that’s the only real benefit to this novel. The truth is MC is so focused he doesn’t retaliate when he is bullied and set up by powerful families. He just ignores them… like wtf, you took over a body that suicided because of a scandal from a young master and you just ignore it. Author might as well made MC a logger who only chops down trees in the middle of the forest every day until death. Would have been more interesting.
I am not a 100% sure of what you said but near ch 100 the girl who said he molested him was sued for defamation and her dater was arrested for tax fraud and near 120 she had to go to his house as a maid I am not clear as I just checked what happened to her instead of reading all the way

This novel is great. If you like slower paced novel, interesting mc who is solely focused on cultivation, mc taking a different path from anyone else, not giving a shet what others say, no romance or harem, then you might enjoy this novel. /// So what is the novel about? The description does not do a good job telling about it, it only shows the true definition of the MC. The novel starts with MC, who had trained all his life, to the point of breaking his body, just to try to reach another realm in martial arts, to evolve his body further, to break the limits of human body. Yet its just a normal world, and in his 30s he dies due to injuries. Luckily he gets reincarnated into another world, to a body of a weak boy. The world also is much more magical, the mainstream power being star refiners and martial artists, tho the latter being basiaclly like ants compared to the other. Yet the mc does not let himself be swayed by that, even with having no talent or way to practice star refining. Like in his previous life, he will continue pursue the martial arts, find ways to evolve, to break his limits. He also discovers he has a new talent, insight, which allows him to gain insight into himself, be it when training or when brought to the limits in fights, he will gain and perfect his powers, become better and find new ways to advance his path. /// What makes this novel most enjoyable for me was the MC. The MC is truly embarking on his road, there is nothing else he will even consider besides following his path, seeking evolution, to become stronger. He will not play any games, will not use any dirty tricks or tactics, everything he does is straight forward and has only one goal - to improve himself. In that sense the description of the novel really descirbes the mc the best - he does not want to be the strongest , because that would mean this would be the end of his journey. So he looks forward and hopes that there would be someone stronger, someone that would beat him and show him he is wrong, show him there is a different path. That Is his mentality throughout the novel. Everyone calls him arrogant, because he ignores the bigger picture, offends strong powers or does not follow the trend. Yet he never considers himself arrogant. He is not afraid of the strong, he wants to be defeated, to feel the power that's above his, to learn from it. He also does not want his time wasted, so when people are not dimensionally stronger than him, he let's them know that, let them prepare and be at their prime, to have an enjoyable fight. /// In the later stages of the novel the power scaling goes through the roof, becoming galactic scale. Yet somehow, this novel never gets dull or overwhelming, whereas there has been numerous novels I've dropped because how ridiculous they get. So if you enjoy the early parts of the novel, ur safe to read till the end.
The plot is pretty steady and the power scaling is enjoyable. Some criticisms are that the MC and other characters have their pronouns bungled in translation so get used to a lot he's got her and she for him. One spoiler that annoys me personally is that the MC seems to have built up a lot of good relationships then at a certain point in the plot he feels he's payed off the karma of the life he now occupies. This leads to him sorta dying and getting a new identity. This feels like a shit move as there's so many characters he's had positive and interesting dynamic relations with and him so casually cutting that off feels like a waste. I'll keep reading and hope he returns and at least reconnects with some of them.
In himself he paid for having taken the body of the original and therefore paid karma he has no real attachment to the family, after his false death he never hid who he was people just never asked who he was and after a while people make the connection and asking him and he answers yes (google trad)
Yeah, I caught up to and passed that point. Sadly even after the reveal of it being him he at most interacted with his sister. The other two girls he taught or never mentioned again and all the people who looked down on him or so have become peanut gallery to his OP strength. About caught up with the latest chapter (500) and he's really leaving them all in the dust.
Man there's always something scummy about reincarnates coming and living a dead man's life better than him. Especially in a case when the original owner committed suicide after being cyberbullied due to a sexual assault accusations that occurred when he ducked out on the school belle trying to hide from a young master.
That does sound bad. He should at least get revenge for the previous guy. Not "live a better life" since that's not a fair comparison when he didn't live through that incident from start to end of previous owner of the body
Yes, I had the same reaction as you when I read the first chapter. I think it is another trash novel. But when I read on, this novel is good. Slow pace, not much conflict and he is martial art maniac his only goal is to break human limit to achieve what his previous life cant do. So if many of you drop for fisrt or two chapter I will breif you some story. It is not like everyone hate him like another novel. he has friend who is good to him and introduce him to his uncle who is owner of martial art pavilion and get the job. But first I have to explain his cheat, he has no system or golden finger. He only has talent "insight". So why I like this novel because there are no face slapping, killing young and old come, no cliffhanger breakthought. 4.5/5 stars.
