2. Long rant and thoughts up to CH180. This is the most mediocre novel I have read in a while. I do not truly know what the author is trying to do, is the goal to be a mage or nobility maybe both, MC sucks at both paths as well. Relating to comments I would ignore the crooked nuts in the first chapter as it was the only time shown and is not really a negative insult, most of the time. The other comment is spot on though besides the system, as MC does rely on physical means or crossbows to win a large amount of the time. The system/AI is dog water currently has a few uses; crosshair with tracking, data entry(?) which was used once by MC but is passively used by the AI, and scanning terrain for resources. Although I will say author made it one where it can develop as he unlocks more, but the recent upgrade(2nd) was for the AI to have conversations with MC, lame I must say. The actual world is developed I suppose(politics) but I hate it as the author uses the mysterious background and forbidden to talk about to hide information, and the payoff/reveal tends to be absolutely disappointing for most novels. MC is kept in the dark for so many things and is surprising he even got to his level of power and development, also tends to get his rewards taken from him but given back, kind of a carrot stick to build loyalty of MC to whoever. The power structure of this novel is bad especially after author said, "put aside some of their previous understanding of mages" like there is nothing really defined yet. Soul power can almost be equated as level, the actual class does not matter it just changes how the power is used. For the potential harem askers out there, seems to be only 1 main interest but another potential one, but she can also just be a friend she also has not appeared much. Translations also suck really bad for names especially his friends gender is swapped so there is that.

3. So a little of the MCs family background was revealed and it was okay nothing special. Glad it mentioned that there are super strong out there because I felt the power cap was low. Side note why are all the rulers we know super weak like do they really only focus on relations.###SPOILER### MC had an uncle who was the first to help defend against a “race” war/invasion and basically got betrayed by the kingdom and other higher powers/kingdoms. Race war with only 300k deaths like I bet human wars have a lot more impact and casualties than that.

4. CH424. Novel has literally not progressed in any significant way, like sure there were a few good arcs and characters, but MC still only knows 3 spells and is being carried. Actually, might drop it if nothing improves in ~30chapters. MC is somewhat special as his level is like 12 now but he can exert power typically above him, but we are really never shown him training or learning, maybe twice recently. Sidenote the MC's physical stat is at 3. Author has clearly changed his view of the novel and what he wants to do, the dwarf has less screen time and now has girl. Another standing out would be MC changing how he feels about the maid as now the elf seems to be the main girl, maid is still mad suspicious. The recent expansion of MC's domain and this terrible kingdom feels like some CUCK sh*t as he does all this just to never really gain anything and hands it over to some dude who really was never there nor important. The economy of this novel is probably the worse as I have really no idea how MC stays afloat when he spends big bucks or gives away so much as a reward. Mc is also cucked by having a mostly useless system, maybe somethings are still hidden but so far it has not really changed it has a power level scanner now. Severe disappointment from that as the thing took energy several times stronger than normal and gained so little, also we might have skipped/forgot an energy source but idk some chapters seem cutoff. Honestly having a lord type system where he can see his territory, give buffs, and see stats/loyalty would have been better.

6. Its pretty shitty. Its more of a half baked martial arts novel than a mage or wizard novel. MC is retarded, training never makes sense, and system never activates.

7. mc crosses to western world but still has chinese name not to mention him calling everybody crooked nuts which obviously is an insult chinese use on westerners
