  1. the author did little to no research on how business works. there are a lot of little things in this novel that are weird but i can forgo those small things, but some of the big things like the semiconductor chain just annoyed me. the author talks about how china's semiconductor chain basically sucks so if they get embargoed they would essentially be fuckd so the mc tries to make the semiconductor chain better in china, this is fine it makes sense but heres where it makes no sense why is he promoting other companies and such he could just buy out all the companies that he needs in his chain and they pump funds into them for r & d. it makes no sense for him to actively promote those companies instead of just owning them outright. i'm sure if given the chance other companies would love to have their industrial chain be completely inhouse the issue is they can't due to a limit on funds, however this isn't a issue for the mc obviously so the fact he doesn't do it is stupid. next the shit with the open sourcing rockets really triggered me. the author used the example of tesla essentially to try to justify this ongoing spree of open sourcing. first the reason tesla did it is because to promote the ev market because it was heavily dominated by fuel engine vehicles. this would not only boost the ev for tesla but, also because other ev companies who used tesla's patents would also end up following their standards. but you gotta understand the reason they could do this is because fucking cars are mass producible commodities, but rockets aren't, you're not going to be selling a rocket to every other family on the block like a car. also the way aerospace companies mainly make money is from getting orders from the government take space x as a example it mainly got money from doing shit for nasa. essentially your a contractor, the fact is if you open source rockets your going to promote more people into the industry that otherwise wouldn't have been in there thus you have more contractors so your at risk of losing orders, this contradicts the whole idea of making profit your better off running a charity at this point. and the whole bullshit about making them follow your standards is nonsense YOUR NOT SELLING THEM ROCKETS. fyi i also looked up this stuff the fact that it took me like 40 mins to watch a couple videos on youtube and read a couple articles to fact check just shows how non professional the author is like if your going to write a novel i'd atleast expect you to check these things.

  2. I don't understand, the mc made BlueSpace (Facebook) and I thought he sold the shares for BlueSpace (not BlueSpace Thech), but then he's making a search engine from this funding ? does that mean he sold the shares of the company as a whole ? isn't that dumb ? So if he makes a video website next, he's working for the investors for free, why not make a BlueSpace Thech a separate company, and sell shares for each app/website separately ? It's like he made Facebook, got funds, and then made Youtube, Google, Twitter, and got nothing for these projects, cause he made these apps from the funds of Facebook, and he can't sell any seperate shares, or at least keep 100% shares of other projects. So the mc made a goose, and instead of selling each gold egg, he sold the goose ? so now evey egg he sells is not his.

  3. That is why the author should not do investments, he would definitely declare bankruptcy with the way he handles things in the story.
