does anyone know the complete fantasy novel i create a list behind the scene or like tianji pavilion?
when i picked this novel i fully intended on it being a "cultivation" novel. however this is primarily where the problem lies with this novel. its basically a medieval European fantasy novel with a cultivation skin. ofcourse many might say that well the author just has a unique take on what cultivation is but i highly doubt that first of all there have been many unique takes on cultivation for example in "reverend insanity" the author focuses on the essence of gu, in martial world the cultivation is based on the trinity of essence,flesh, and soul. then there are also those novels that have the very generic cultivation systems such as qi refinment-foundation establisment-golden core- nascent soul etc.. however all these different systems all have the same fundamental core which is cultivation is through the use of resources you strengthen yourself to a supernatural level of power. however in this novel its much more akin to western magic then cultivation. in fact if you just change some of the words it would literally make the novel setting fit in more such as the privy coucil is just the wizard council, alchemists are just wizards, hexagram is just spell model, etc. now i also don't think this is a coincidence because the last novel that this author wrote was "release that witch" which was surprise a medival european fantasy kingdom building novel. fyi i really liked the authors last novel and i'm not saying this novel is bad but what i'm saying is i intended to buy a bottle of peanut butter but it turned out it was a bottle of pickles, now theres nothing wrong with the pickles but thats not what i was expecting in the bottle. hence the cultivation tag. all in all if your thinking this is a cultivation novel i suggest you don't waste your time.
So what you saying is that the novel name is misleading.
It is not really misleading... At the end of it the alchemist also tries to understand the rules to get more power which in the eastern culture in the novel can be called heavenly dao.
first of all i don't just look at the title before i decide to read a novel. i check the reviews, which didn't mention any of the things i mentioned, the stars, and the tags. when i found this novel i was doing a search under cultivation tags. so if i see a cultivation tag i'm expecting a cultivation novel i don't think that's too ridiculous.
I hope author doesn't start harem from latest chapter 495. Till now Everyone enjoyed the story very much and it was without any harem content. Science , fantasy, farming all made this story unique not beauties.
I havent read much of this novel but my 1st impression is that its a good one. Reason is that the mc is wise. Not like those generic chinese mc's . As a transmigator he actually uses knowledge from our world like the concept of venture capital. Or racism on demons like fox girl .we all know novels with mc being reborn on a diff world .still has memory from our world and does not use any of the shits we know to his advantage. Hope this novel goes well and im excited to read more. Also for lazy_daoist below you need to comprehend what you read bro. Don't judge a novel after 3 chapter. Thats a stupid mistake. But at least you didnt slap it with 1 star. Lol
I had very mixed feelings for this novel, as usually if a novel doesn't hook me in the first couple of chapters i wouldn't try to read anymore of it. I usually would like these types of mc's where they are smart and wise and even like the slow type of novels but i like it when it is entertaining where the character interactions are not boring and the main character is slowly working towards his goal and in the first 3 chapter their werent anything that could have interested me, the character interactions werent that great and although their was stuff such as logic and stuff in it, it seemed bland and almost as if the characters arent really speaking to each other but addressing what they were thinking to the audience, but of course this is my first impression and at the time of the review it was quite late at night and i wasn't in the right mood to read novels
