It's good, really. I like it, specially the romance but I'm sad that the potential was wasted. Specially the ending, felt like it was rushed. anyway, it's still good.
It has potential but... It was wasted
MC plays against CIA but left them alive. Now he is on the wanted list and landlocked to china. There is too much stupidity and cowardice in this story. So indecisive, so much inner monologue, so much self-debate from the author. The characters are one dimensional. His reason for hiding a lot of things is because he wants to be lowkey but does the opposite everytime. The reasons for not being discovered is that this is a parallel world and people are 2 levels dumber than the original one. The reason his works sell is because parallel world is uncultured but has strong copyright tendencies. tldr: worse than average, better IRAS in decency but is more narrow in scope.
The story stars good, but the author waste many opportunities in his story. Example: the organization that protect the safety of Yang Xi's father. MC fighting skills is wasted because in this story so far you won't meet any fighting scene except the meeting with "The Organization". The parth of Kunlun movie adaptation also waste of plot, because MC doesn't even care at all, so the author won't even bother to write about it, I mean we didn't even know that the movie adaptation turn good or not. The MC time in highschool just become trash because of MC decided to go abroad to chase his girlfriend, there is no true and deep relationship in this story except MC and his girlfriend. So don't expect about brotherhood, the crew from his advertisment got more shot than his parent, till know we only know that both his parent is super busy while his father is someone frome the Public Secretary and his mother owned several company under her enterprise. Basically the novel is all about MC challenge his limit over and over again. No harem in this story, just romance, for people who chase after harem I'll say sorry, because author introduce potential girl everytime but just made them side character without even contribute to the progress of story. Until now I've already reached chapter 370, and MC keep hid all of his doing to his parent, I mean he already revealed it to Yang Xi's parent but his parent is still hidden in the dark without knowing that his son already become millioner, famous person, one who master art and music skill, etc. Seriously for him to trust his girlfriend rather than his parent is bothersome, how you not even revealing what are you doing to your parent just because you worried that you'll made them worried after you. Maybe because everything happent to fast, from chapter 1 till 370, I think it's already 2 years since MC got his system. But at last, after all of that shortcomings, I think this novel is good to read, but for me who like something more action from low-key MC this novel just not my cup of tea. Okay, I just read for a bit fewer chapter in the future and yes MC will use his fighting skill "again" but that's it, I think this story just need to end sooner than later before this kinda of thing appear. Moreover at few last chapter I dumbfounded because the character Xia Yunting (if I remember it correctly), the girl that got the role for first female lead in Kunlun movie reappeared and his love for MC is deep. I don't know WTF did auhtor think when he write this but to bring someone from 100-200 chapter behind in this kind romance novel is kinda weird. I mean Xia Yunting already know beforehand that The Knight or Red Scarf or MC already have a girlfriend that we know as Yang Xi. The end of this book truly not satisfying, my review for this novel is if you read about 100 or 200 first chapter I think it's still god and kinda enjoyment for wishfullfillment but after that the story kinda boring and repetitive while the part when Yang Xi come to Nepal truly unexpected. Because from other novel that I read with same type with this novel, I think the female character won't even do that expect to "Lovey-dovey" with MC.

The spy games is always tooth achingly cringy. I know it is wish fulfillment story from the start but there really is too much water involved when the authors obsession starts acting up.
True, what a waste of potential. A hidden organization that protect their country important people in the dark just become a joke about vomiting and crying, I mean why you need to introduced about them in the first place? Just because MC got that fighting and martial arts skill beforehand? Truly waste of potential, at first because of his father came from Public Security Secretary and Yang Xi's father is someone who travel around the world for his country I think MC will involved in this matter and became someone who protect the country, but I guess there's already ton of that kind of novel.
