Punching the air rn, this is so cute! I like how everyone has their own personalities yet they work well with each other. Lin Luoqing is a very charming, sweet, and very understanding. He knows we’re peoples boundaries lies and never crosses them unless given permission. He is not shy at all about showing his affection towards his children and husband. His husband Ji Yuxiao is quite cold and untouchable to outsiders especially after his legs were disabled due to a car accident. He is very loving and open to affection towards his children and especially towards his husband Luoqing. Lin Fei is Luoqing’s nephew which he took responsibility for after his older sister died as it was one of her last wishes. Lin Fei is a genius you could say, and feels that he doesn’t care what others thinks of him because he also doesn’t care about them. While cold and unfeeling looking he learns that it’s okay to feel happiness and emotions. Ji Leyu is a cunning two-faced little boy who admitted to himself that he was crooked. After the possibly man made car accident that killed both his parents and disabled his uncle, he is quite protective of his uncle and is willing to be a villain to protect him in secret. Despite his true personality he put on his cute charming face and acts innocent (when in reality Lin Luoqing knew from the beginning bc of book knowledge and Lin Fei found out by accident)

After more than 24 hours later I finally finished the novel. I am very satisfied, the character growth for the four main characters was just right and wasn’t abrupt at all. Lin Luoqing and Ji Yuxiao are couple goals period. They work together and never leave each other behind; they are very loving to the point im puking rainbows. I should keep this vague so I don’t spoil too much, but the ugh everyone is so cute in this story. Ngl there were times I lost interest but I was easily drawn back in. Please at lease give the story a try and at least read 10 chapters or so before deciding if you want to continue or not. 9.5/10
