Resumen

walau qin nanqi adalah villainnya tapi aku tidak bisa membencinya. mereka hanya memiliki cara yang berbeda dalam mengapresiasikan cinta. sebenarnya qin yusui di kehidupan sebelumnya bukanlah siapa siapa bagi sang putri, di kehidupan ini dia hanya beruntung bertemu sang putri secara kecelakaan dan setelah sekian lama sang putri luluh juga dengan ketulusan cintanya. sedangkan qin nanqi (shen shuli) dia mencintanya sang putri dengan setulus hati dalam kehidupan dan kematian, bahkan rela menunggu 2000th menjadi hantu menunggu renkarnasi sang putri tapi sayang setelah bertemu lagi waktu dan keadaan tidak berpihak padanya, cintanya terjebak dalam kakakzone. kalau itu aku yg mengalaminya kurasa aku juga akan menjadi shen shuli, bahkan jika seluruh dunia membenciku dan ingin melawankh asalkan aku mendapatkan cintanya kurasa itu sepadan.

So, I'm already 2/3s of the way in, and I think I've got the gist of this. The title is only 50% accurate. Like, yeah, Yu'er's civilian life is leisurely, but she's a Feng Shui master who helps people with their supernatural problems and helps ghosts resolve their heart knot. 'Peaceful' is the last word I'd use to describe the various mystery-of-the-day that our MC faces. Not to mention the slow main arc with the final Big Boss unraveling, human sacrifices and demonised ghosts included. That's a lot of crimes like human trafficking being committed by the baddie. So, if you want your supernatural action/mystery be interspersed with calm daily life, yeah, read this. If you're looking for something that's mostly peaceful, this is _not_ it.

It was supposed to be a happy ending but a very important person for her became a villain and the story somehow became a tragedy.
