It's better if this kind of story, the author settings is in western culture. I mean i relates with the story better. Cause in my eyes all Chinese is the same, hard to differentiate, just like asian have difficulty to differentiate a westerners.
This comment awfully smells like a racist would say it. Western and Chinese culture are very different from each other to the point where its almost impossible to make a similar story with the same plot progression without it sounding abnormal. (Idk if the portrayal of Chinese Ent. Industry is on point in this novel but I've read many similar themes that are like this so am gonna give it the benefit of the doubt)Like it wouldn't work, especially with the setting of entertainment industry plot here, this novel (i think) heavily relies on that part where(spoilers)the author makes Qingqiu realize how much Qinghan cared about her (making Qingqiu feel somethings lol) on that reality show that they both did. Overall, its gonna be a different vibe if its on a Western lense or type of setting.
