  1. Reminder: I have ONLY read until CHAPTER 234. Therefore, I do NOT know what happens afterward nor if there were changes in the characters' personalities, skills, career, relationships, etc. Your common cast is here. Vicious step-mother, white lotus step-sister, greedy father, and "blind" man. The FL saved a man (not the ML), took care of him for three years while he was in a vegetative state, and started to like him. Step-sister forcefully took over her role when she found out that the man came from a wealthy and noble family. The man woke up believing that the step-sister saved him therefore liked her. The FL tried many times to explain to the man that she saved him but never believed her which is why he is called a blind man. Your common plot is here too. The FL got drugged with aphrodisiac because of the step-mother and step-sister. The FL was sent to the wrong room and coincidentally the ML is staying there. She got raped by the ML then escaped. The ML looked for her and was determined to marry her because she is "special." ML is your typical handsome and powerful boss. Just like some other MLs, he becomes very uncomfortable when a female comes close to him within three meters even walls can not block. The only exception is the FL and that is why she is "special." He is not the cold type. He learned some tricks from his friends on how to please or handle women which is why the FL keeps on blushing and falling into his traps. He is a beast in bed but at least he knows when to stop or restrain himself. He is not the overbearing kind of ML. FL is not your strong female protagonist where she knows martial arts, has super high IQ, got hacking skills, has secret connections, etc. Definitely not the Mary Sue type and no rebirth. She is hard-working, smart, and has her own shortcomings. She is not the calm nor calculating type. You could obviously guess what she is thinking by her facial expressions. She is a bit gullible but at least her IQ does not terribly fall because of love and their couple quarrels. She is not involved in the entertainment circle but rather her step-sister is. FL became an intern in the ML's company. There are not much misunderstandings between the FL and ML. It gets resolved like within 5 or 10 chapters, or even less. The novel is fine. I just got bored easily which is why I am going to stop reading it for now. I did not find the female protagonist unique but rather ordinary. I did not feel any strong vibe from her unlike other FLs who plan for their own future or got strong goals such as build her own business empire, revenge against her cruel family, dominate the entertainment circle, learn various skills to strengthen herself, etc. I have no clue what Su Zhixi (FL) wants to do or to be for HER OWN future other than being a good wife of He Jingyao (ML). In short, she lacks ambition. This is just my opinion. Do not forget my reminder at the top of this comment. Thanks for reading!
