"he underestimated the interest of the rich in making money." this pretty much sums up the authors mental retardation. also i haven't gotten to the Chinese arc yet but honestly i don't like the American arc as many areas make no sense, such as the way other characters interact with the mc especially the Americans. "cough" and yes I'm implying racism. anyways will continue to update as i go further.
update at 400, first of all the author implies that its unrealistic for a Chinese to basically have founded Facebook or the matter of fact any unicorn start up due to inherent bias against Chinese. this is just pure bs, i'm sure there are definitely some that are just racist and won't work with you but for the most part the rich don't give a rats ass what you are as long as you can make them money. in fact you could be a chimpanzee, as long as you can make them billions they'd treat you like a god. next the authors research is god awful, for example in history Facebook wasn't the only social media platform that was looking for investment in fact there were others that had even better layouts and function but Facebook got picked in the end why? well you see Facebook mastered the idea of feeding off peoples hate, which led to it having the highest retention time out of the various social platforms. next i don't understand why the mc has such a fkn boner for Alibaba, i get that Alibaba will be really big due to future knowledge but clearly the negotiations are going to shit and keep in mind Alibaba isn't his only option.
update 580 so far its okay, i've finally reached the china arc. the pacing of the story is too slow as i think after like a hundred or so chapters only around a couple months or so has passed. on top of that it really didn't feel like he made much progress in that time, the mc pretty much just ran around and people pretty much came to him. yeah i get that he is pretty much famous so it makes sense that some people who want investment would go to him but likewise he himself has barely made any moves, for ex lets say if he knew there were going to be a small company that would rise in price later why not actively go and acquire them i haven't seen much of that aside from him looking for home appliance company. pretty much the only good thing right now is the lack of romance, and the negotiations. the romance takes up very little time like 1-2 ch and it basically only shows up occasionally, this is pretty much my tolerable range. as for those people clamoring for romance, just go fk off seriously there's a whole genre dedicated to that why are you reading a business oriented novel for that. as for the business negotiations i feel like they are more realistic then some of the other novels i read where sometimes they just go too smoothly, in this its pretty much a real negotiations i mean think about it these people are selling and buying for millions of dollars of course you're going to want to fight for every bit of it.
