It does start off slow. It does start off fluffy. But it explores many humanitarian concepts in a lighter sense. If you are here for the Yuri, I am afraid you you will be disappointed. This is one of those novels that elude to Yuri relations, more shoujo ai, but it is mostly about MCs life as she recovers from the loss of her Master, who was a parental figure, in a very fluffy manner, but getting herself a damaged soul as a pet, the FL. I am enjoying it a lot since I was looking for a fluffy read with serious undertones.
Looking at the second chapter I remembered that I had already read the raw of this one, and it had dropped in chapter 5, it's pretty boring for me.

Look at the above comment. The Yuri is more of a sub genre.
