Yep ending was soooooo bad without the afterwords lmao. I mean he probably got scolded by readers in china and was forced to write one 🤣🤣🤣
MC is really boring, like the "afraid of trouble" type clueless protagonist, but stupidly charges into the most dangerous situation for moderate amounts of profit he could have gotten a different way; all of MC's problems were made by himself, and his great relationships with other characters could only happen because of luck because he puts no effort into them, yet somehow they all love him. Author's beat by beat and chapter by chapter style is garbage, individual chapters are dull, and plot relies on the promise of interesting things happening later but never happening to keep any interest. 2/5, at least there's no nationalism or racism.
I don't understand why people say Mc pretend to be forced. Mc became a navy hero. Most of the pirates were afraid of Mc, the navy praised Mc. No one slapped him in the face.
