  1. Compared to good historical Chinese novel, this one is lack of historical accuracy but has a bit good storyteller. Overall, it's not that good. MC not likeable and more like stupid fantasy kingdom building MC where it has no brain at all about running country except like playing RTS.

  2. 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐓𝐋 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 : 𝐦𝐭𝐥𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐜.𝐜𝐨𝐦

  3. Hi, an actual review here. TLDR: Very Good if you like the historical genre. It's almost as good as Iron Cross IMO. Ok, so, the story is basically about a Chinese man who was reborn right at the peak of the 'Great Purge' and shortly before the war with Germany started. It goes all the way to the cold war. It's a HEAVY political drama with a very dark atmosphere which might be slow but is definitely full of content, again, warning! Very dark shit right here. The beta casual novel fans might not like this but for the average historical enjoyer chad, this is the equivalent of a High-end factory-fresh Marcedes in a parking lot full of cheap ass second hand Wuling. Like, bit*h what the fak is a Wuling? I have read until chapter 792 (I rarely do that) and so far it has been good. Of course this is not the most historically accurate novel ever, but the level of research and authors own understanding is great enough to the level where you can actually learn a lot of event in Soviet history especially in the circle of the central government and details about how the Soviet Union is actually governed. Anyway on the technical side, it's fine, not a lot of problem there. On the subjective side though, *tch* maan where do I start... First of all, I can smell a Dengist from thousands of miles away. Man this shit reeks 'Reform & Opening Up', motherfu*ker even snitched on himself when he wrote that Vosnezenskys economic policy made much more sense than the tried and tested Feldman Model. Bozo basically denied the success of the entire Soviet people and states that by reintroducing capitalist economic mechanism the Soviet Union, a SOCIALIST country, can achieve a "better" economic growth. Surely the backlash of such stupid decision CANNOT be seen in modern Russia and China right? I don't see no tofu dreg project, no arrogant young masters, no evil businessman with evil business practices, no increase in nationalistic and racist tendency, no party bureaucrat who suddenly can get a loan from national banks and 'acquired' a factory, no migrant workers, and absolutely certainly definitely no sweatshops. Nope, nah, these won't happen.(Sarcasm) So yeah, I'm quite biased, it could be a Great historical novel like Iron Cross, which is a novel about being reincarnated into Adolf frikkin Hitler by the way, but instead I drop it a notch just because author is a filthy Dengist That's basically socialist infighting in a nutshell LOL. Anyway, review done, shoo.

  4. Why do Stalinist want to die this retarded hill , even Lenin wanted to keep some aspects of capitalism to achieve a healthy transition

  5. Hello bro, can u recommend me more novels like these? Like holy roman empire, iron cross... I was searching on uukashu but is too difficult with the category search... Pd: I recommend u korean novel of "dear comrade" or " I don't want nazis in my germany"... are complety diffenrent points of view to chinese nistorical novels

  6. Lolz, I just read Iron Cross but wtf? After 1300 chapter and finally german won the race building atomic bomb after they sabotage Manhattan project. The story goes downhill, the plot suddenly dragged like idiot. MC keep offering peace but us reject it again and again and even gave good conditions eventho mc has atomic bomb and Knew that if given time, US would finish it 6-12 month. And this fcking plot even let US reject peace offer again and again for more than 3 month. And the story keep dragging into almost I don't know what to say. Ended up as Disaster word count hunter. 😭

  7. The author does not fully understand the history, from the fact that the Katyn execution was in 1940 (1939 in the book) to the fact that according to the official version, everyone was shot in the back of the head there, and not shot with machine guns, and so on, ending with the fact that the Katyn execution was falsified by the Germans, which any sane person understands.
