I see a lot of people talking about how Chinese novels are racist. When everyone else tries to pass off your way of existence as wrong or bad, of course you do whatever you can to represent your people in the dominant position. It doesn't matter to me, and shouldn't to anyone either, how they potray their country. It's not like any of you have country's worth reading about. So given the choice I would rather read about an alternate universe where they are respected and treated with the dignity that a global powerhouse deserves because it has earned it and not because of militant threats.
