Calm calm fruit means he can calm down every atoms, absolute 0 temperature.. no sound, no light, idk about gravity and electromagnetic force though
Calm-Calm fruit is bad? Are you kidding me. His ability is to silence everything. You could say he is the biggest nemesis of Whitebeard DF. Every projectile, energy, ranged attacks contain vibrations. If he silenced those vibrations or forces then those attack will be nullified.
We have no indication that he can stop vibrations in attacks. The only persons fruit he's no selling is Apoo's.
If Doflamingo who is a string man can do puppet control with string, heal wound with string, make clone with string, then calm fruit should have a wide variety of powers...
First of all there's a huge difference between those two things. String is a substance. Silence is not. String as a substance can be used to do a variety of things as it's been around forever. It is used to bind wounds. Thus the healing. It is used in puppet shows. Thus that puppetry. It is used to cut things and used to cage things. String is a versatile thing to get a fruit for. It's like getting a metal fruit or something. That being said maybe calm fruit is versatile. Doesn't mean it can stop whitebeard's fruit.
Sound is literally just the air particles vibrating. It was described that Whitebeard's fruit can create vibration in any "medium" i.e., solid liquid gas. Everything has a natural resonant frequency, hence, this fruit might very well counter Whitebeard's.
A well-written yet boring novel. The problem with this story is the MC is quite weak as the story progresses. Yes, he has power-ups but man, you can not appreciate his so-called increase in his powers because he is frequently overpowered by his enemies, but somehow narrowly defeats his enemies by some companion's intervention. OP MCs can be boring at times but MCs like this is not good either. And the author failed to give him skills that can make his powers extra strong. I mean, he can even utilize and improve the silence fruit but all it did is to literally make things silent. The logic behind nullifying sounds...there are so many things the author can do with this but...never mind.

Only thing i dont like about the story is that the author is making haki common everywhere except east blue... ffs its rare even in first half of grandline, let alone the fcking blues...
