  1. Actually if you don’t look at how many praises China won from big-wigs of that time, scientists, politicians, writers etc., cut off chinanumbawan atmosphere, this book seems very not bad. I actually had no idea about the situation on the eastern front during WWII. This book showed me the ugliness of war - sacrifices, betrayal, natural disasters, starvation, death, depression and despair of Chinese during that time. Very enlightening. The downside is an unnaturally huge harem, unbeatable plot armor and the fact that I don’t know many of the books listed in the novel. Little prince, Titanic, and Song of fire and ice, that’s probably all. Overall I’d score 3.5-3.7/5 for this novel. It’s a bit long, but it’s worth the time

  2. To be honest their CCP leader Mao Zedong killed more Chinese people than wars, but they are still licking dogs of the CCP because of the super brainwashing of Chineseumbewan.

  3. Gu Hongming said: "I read "The Rise of Great Powers" and highly praised the great powers. Does Principal Zhou think Chinese people are inferior to Westerners?"    Zhou Hexuan shook his head and said, "I believe that all people are equal, and there is no such thing as a superiority."   Gu Hongming smiled and said, "There is always a difference. Can African blacks be equal to yellows and whites? In my opinion, the Chinese are the best ethnic group in the world, what do you think?"    "I don't agree with this point of view," Zhou Hexuan said. "Don't talk about black people, even those cannibals in the South Pacific, as long as they are human, I think they are equal."    "You are called Fraternity, a believer of the Mo family?" Gu Hongming was noncommittal.    Zhou Hexuan said: "It has nothing to do with Mohism, it is human beings, and nature is equal."

  4. even without reading I predict a chinanumbaone who is plagiarizing works from other countries being discriminated against by all foreigners while slapping them in the face... you know, the common urban novels...

  5. I have read 170 chapters and I can only say that there is no racism here, but only shows the plight of China in the 20th century. there were no special slaps in the face
