Author pisses me off. MC's family is always getting attacked.

The book is very good, I give it a score of 8.5/10. At the moment I am in chap. 3600 the story is very interesting, but I think the author lost a little the courage he had at the beginning of the book to kill a character, and make the MC's family suffer a catastrophe. I think he must have had a lot of negative comments and ended up taking it easy on that aspect. For me it's a shame, because that gave greater weight to decisions and consequences.

n the chapter I've read so far he started making puppets, I would like to know if he focuses on fighting with puppets or does he drop it later? I've always wanted to know some novel where the protagonist is focused on puppets or something like that, like the mechanic Legendary where he uses the robots to fight for him.
